The concept of “yellow” peeling implies a beauty procedure in which a yellow cream mask is applied to the entire face. There are two types of retinoic peeling. Their difference lies in the concentration of the main active substance – retinol, used for the cosmetic procedure, as well as the time of exposure.
Depending on the brand of the manufacturer, the composition of the peeling and the concentration of the main active ingredient in the preparation may differ. The concentration of retinoic acid in professional yellow peeling is in the range of 5-10%. Auxiliary components that can enhance the cosmetic effect can also be included in the composition of the peeling preparation. For example, a whitening effect is achieved with kojic, azeloic or fetic acid, and a calming or anti-stress effect is achieved with allantoin, aloe and chamomile extracts.
The first type of yellow peeling is considered if the main component in the preparation contains synthetic retinoic acid. It is highly concentrated. According to the degree of impact, peeling with such an active substance in the composition is similar to medium and medium-deep. The agent must be applied twice a day. The second type of yellow peeling includes a softer component in the composition of the drug – natural retinol, which has a slight exfoliation on the skin.
