What to use tough boiled beef for

Sometimes in butchers’ shops you come across tough beef, which cannot be softened in any way even by prolonged cooking. What to do then? What to use such beef for?

Options are as follows:

1. Cutlets – from boiled beef, as well as from raw, cutlets can also be made. Cut the meat into pieces and twist in a meat grinder, mix with eggs and flour – and fry.

2. Naval pasta – chop the beef into smaller pieces and fry in butter with onions, carrots and boiled pasta.

3. For an appetizer – cut the beef into thin slices and serve with lettuce and bread for a hearty and quick snack.

4. In a casserole – layers of mashed potatoes, tomatoes, beef and cheese – it will turn out very tasty.

Well, if there is a lot of beef, you can always make a stew in reserve or freeze the boiled meat and then put it in a jellied meat or a hodgepodge.
