Coffee. Long-term use of coffee on an empty stomach – irritation of the mucous membrane and a direct path, minimum – to gastritis, maximum – to an ulcer, which can turn into oncology. With gastritis and stomach ulcers, coffee is contraindicated.

Kefir, yogurt – useless for breakfast. A glass of kefir or yogurt before bedtime will do you good.

Citrus fruits, including juices from them. The large amount of fruit acids is highly irritating to the stomach and contributes to heartburn. This can lead, at best, to gastritis. Drink the juice 1-1,5 hours after breakfast.

Soda. It has a detrimental effect on the walls of the stomach, contributes to gas formation, heartburn and other unpleasant symptoms.

Spices. They have a negative effect on the gastrointestinal tract, since they irritate the mucous membrane and promote the production of gastric juice.

Cucumbers and any other green vegetables: cabbage, onions. Due to the acid content in raw vegetables, stomach discomfort, gas formation, heartburn appear.

Bananas. They contain a lot of magnesium, if they are eaten on an empty stomach, the load on the heart increases.

Tomatoes. They can lead to ulcers, since they contain organic acids (citric, malic, tartaric and a small amount of oxalic), which, when in contact with gastric juice, increase acidity.

What you eat on an empty stomach, decide for yourself. But it is no less harmful not to eat anything in the morning, in any situation. If you are in a hurry to work, to school, or to a meeting in the morning, you need to eat something (from the list of healthy breakfast) for the body to start its successful work. Bon Appetit!
