“Soup on the stove, cutlets in the fridge!” – Households often hear instructions from mothers when they are going to leave the threshold of their home. If we are even going to leave for a short time, we usually arrange a culinary marathon. But it is not always possible to provide your home with the first, second and compote in advance. Suddenly they called to work, extended the business trip … Yes, at least a free window appeared at the hairdresser! The reasons may be different, but as they say, war is war, and lunch is on schedule. Then the heavy burden of feeding falls on the courageous shoulders of the mustachioed nanny. And what do they do?
Not all food is in the fridge
Anya was three years old when her mother, a housewife with a huge experience, had to unexpectedly leave home for the whole day. It was a matter of women’s honor to save a friend from depression after a divorce. Dad Arthur, who disappears for days at work, was left alone with his daughter.
The last time her father played the role of a nanny for the first time, the girl was barely six months old. The baby ate the mixture, which the parent diluted according to the instructions. But now, having heard “Daddy, eat!”, Arthur rushed to the refrigerator. Unloading a bunch of containers, pots, cans and pans on the table, the parent asked: “Will you be borscht? What about the chicken puree? Maybe sausages? ” We agreed on the first. Warmed up, flavored with sour cream. “Eat”, – dad handed Anna a sandwich with pate. The girl ate with appetite. And she ate the borscht.
In the evening, my mother returned home. “Where did my face mask go?” – asked Marina, looking at the half-empty jar of “pate”. It turns out that the product was prepared by a beautician and ordered to store the product in the refrigerator – the mask was based on potatoes. It’s okay, it seems, but all the same, the parents were worried – well, how did they poison the child? Everything worked out. But now nothing but food is kept in the refrigerator.
When Ksyusha was born to Olga and Konstantin, the head of the family proved to be a very responsible parent. The wife recalls, as soon as the daughter was brought from the hospital, the newly-made daddy sat down with a solemn air at the bed of the sleeping baby. When his wife asked what he was doing, the man replied in surprise: “How what? I’m going to be on duty. You can’t take your eyes off her at night. “
Konstantin did not lose a responsible approach to parental duties even after many years. Therefore, when Olga needed to leave for a few days on business, she left her 10-year-old daughter with her dad with peace of mind. Mom had no doubts that her husband would cope. She was absolutely right.
“I prepared the meal in advance, of course. But you can’t cook it all the time, you need something fresh. Therefore, Kostya stood up to the stove. He cooked soups, made cutlets, planed salads … Ksyusha was fed according to all the rules: first, second and compote, ”Olga said.
Nikolai often stayed with his daughter when her mother was away for work. On such days, one of the grandmothers came to help the young dad. They fed the child according to science, except that BZHU and calorie were not calculated. But once Miroslava’s father had to stay with his daughter alone for ten whole hours.
… A disheveled, but insanely happy child met his mother on the doorstep. The baby’s face was stained with chocolate. The remnants of “kinders” were scattered everywhere: judging by the number of candy wrappers, there were at least ten of them. On the table, plates were lined up: with soup, with pasta and sausage, with a chop, with salad …
“She didn’t eat anything,” Papa Kolya began to make excuses in response to a silent question in his wife’s eyes.
It turned out that all attempts to feed the child with “normal” food failed. Then dad and daughter went to the store. The girl happily washed away the “kinder” she bought and ice cream. And I realized that you can twist ropes from dad. During the day, Mira took her parent shopping seven times, and each time the basket ended up with chocolate eggs, marmalade, lollipops and ice cream. “Mom, can I stay with my dad tomorrow too?” – going to bed, the cunning mumbled. I wonder if Mom agreed.
At work, Yana occupies a rather serious and responsible position. Even sitting on maternity leave, the young mother had to run into the office, so tiny Valeria from the cradle was accustomed to the company of her father. But for a long time Lera stayed with her father for the first time when she was already seven years old.
“My daughter is allergic to some products, so Stepan understands the degree of responsibility and will never give the child a forbidden treat, no matter how she asks,” said Yana.
The parent carefully studied the daughter’s allowed diet and put on an apron. Soup with vegetable broth, beef with mashed potatoes as a garnish, vitamin salad … Stepan turned out to be an excellent cook. My daughter was delighted, my mother too. It seems that Stepan will now have to stand at the stove more often.
Arina suddenly had to leave her men, her husband Sergei and five-year-old Vanyushka. Her mother became seriously ill, she had to go, and the path was not short – several hundred kilometers. Whatever one may say, it will take several days. The stock of ready-made food lasted for a couple of days. And I had to somehow live two more days before my mother returned. The dinner question was solved simply – they ordered pizza. But you won’t live on fast food for two whole days! Mom will find out – she will kill …
The men went to the grocery store. Several heavy packages were brought in. They began to cook. The men’s menu included naval pasta, chicken noodles and charlotte. All the dishes were great. The wolves are fed. But … Returning home, the hostess froze on the threshold. The place where the kitchen used to be has turned into a carnage – there is no other name for it. Dirty dishes, pots, spoons, pans are everywhere … The stove is covered with burnt sauce. Even on the walls there are some suspicious pieces!
“Mommy has arrived! – Vanechka rushed to the top. “And we left you some pie.”
Veronica planned to celebrate her 30th birthday on a grand scale. The young mother was going to spend the whole day on the eve of the celebration in a beauty salon in order to shine by the evening, killing the guests on the spot. At 11 in the morning, the birthday girl kissed the one-year-old Savely on the cheek, left the last parting words to dad and drove off to the salon. A beautiful day awaited her – a haircut, painting, manicure, pedicure …
At about five in the evening my cell phone rang.
“Nika, are you coming soon? He has been yelling for the second hour, I don’t know what to do, ”panic was clearly heard in her husband’s voice.
“Did you feed him? What did he eat? ” – Nika was already calculating options for how to finish everything as quickly as possible and rush home, to save the family. But there was an awkward pause on the phone.
“You should have fed, right?” – Father himself realized how stupid his question sounded. But he really forgot to feed his son. It didn’t even occur to me.
