Waiting out the rain
The traditional Parade of strollers in Gorky Park this year took place in extreme conditions: before the holiday began, a downpour gushed out. But heavy rain could not interfere with the performances. All the participants were hastily moved from the central square of the park to a tent by the Ferris wheel – and the parade continued!
For some, the rain even helped a little: the streams of water reminded of the sea, and several works were devoted to this topic at once. More precisely, the strollers were decorated in the style of the girls’ favorite sea cartoon – Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Another hot topic this year is the funny couple Mickey and Minnie Mouse. They were also portrayed by several families. Yes, and other Disney characters have not been forgotten: Rapunzel, Winnie the Pooh with all his friends, Aladdin with the unchanging genie … When designing baby strollers and toy strollers, as well as children’s bicycles, everyone was remembered. One of the families reincarnated as the heroes of Carroll’s “Alice”, decorating the stroller in the form of the most mysterious character – the Cheshire Cat. And the most unexpected option was a stroller in the form of a huge spider: not scary at all, in children’s socks.
