Tabletki zawierają składnik aktywny bursztynian solifenacyny belonging to the group of antimuscarinic agents. The substance blocks the receptors responsible for muscle contraction in the bladder wall. As a result of their relaxation, the bladder acquires the ability to accumulate more urine, which reduces the need to urinate too often. In addition, the agent prevents sudden contractions of the bladder muscles, reducing the likelihood of involuntary leakage of urine.
Vesicare – dosage
Doustnie. Dawkę i częstotliwość przyjmowania preparatu ustala lekarz. Tabletki połykać w całości i popijać płynem, przyjmować z posiłkiem lub niezależnie od posiłku. vesicare jest suplementem podawanym doustnie. Dorośli, w tym osoby w podeszłym wieku powinni na początku przyjmować 5 mg raz na dobę, w razie potrzeby dawkę można zwiększyć do 10 mg raz na dobę. The drug should not be taken by people who are allergic to the ingredients contained in the tablets, have problems with completely emptying the bladder, gastrointestinal problems, liver dysfunction, kidney diseases, suffer from glaucoma, myasthenia gravis. The drug should also not be used by children, pregnant and breastfeeding women.
The preparation may cause blurred vision, less often drowsiness and fatigue, which may adversely affect the ability to drive and use machines.

Common: blurred vision, constipation, nausea, dyspepsia, abdominal pain.
Niezbyt często: zakażenia układu moczowego, zapalenie pęcherza moczowego, senność, zaburzenia smaku, zespół suchego oka, suchość w jamie nosowej, refluks żołądkowo-przełykowy, suchość w gardle, suchość skóry, trudności w oddawaniu moczu, zmęczenie, obrzęki obwodowe.
