Varicose veins are a very common problem. If you have them and in addition to being unsightly, they cause you pain, do not hesitate to consult your doctor. Those who practice phlebology will be able to choose the appropriate treatment. Often times, the treatment has to be repeated because new varicose veins appear. In addition, wearing compression stockings can prevent the formation of new varicose veins, decrease swelling in the ankles and feet, relieve the feeling of heaviness in the legs and effectively prevent the appearance of ulcers.
