On April 22, the capital’s operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus reported that two-thirds of Russians who died from a disease that swept the whole world did not seek medical help in a timely manner. To date, there are 513 deaths from coronavirus infection in Russia.

COVID-19 can be confused with SARS or seasonal allergies. It is worth paying more attention to even those symptoms that at first glance seem insignificant. Among them are cough, runny nose, fever, etc.

“The deterioration of the condition to extremely severe in most cases occurs abruptly, 5-8 days after infection, and requires immediate hospitalization,” the headquarters said in a statement.

Self-medication can lead to bad consequences, so if symptoms of the disease appear, you should definitely call a doctor at home.

Recall that as of April 22, 57 cases of coronavirus were recorded in Russia. A total of 999 people have already recovered.
