Tribute to the Gastronomic Woman

We cannot ignore the importance of women in gastronomy, for years their dedication to the culinary arts was taken in the background, but fortunately their landing in the first line of creation and elaboration within the professional sector makes initiatives like the one that It is going to take place next week, honor that work of decades.

The city of Cordoba will host on February 23 and 24 the First National Congress of Gastronomic Women, to be held at the facilities of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters from the Andalusian city.

the organization of the event is the responsibility of the local Chef Celia jimenez and the digital broadcast medium Al Salmorejo, which together with collaborators such as Andalusian Academy of Gastronomy and Tourism, the University of Córdoba, the Córdoba City Council, the Provincial Council and the Ministry of Tourism and Commerce of the Junta de Andalucía have made this celebration possible.

The objective of this congress is to know the work that women are developing within gastronomy, from the origin to the communication from the hands of the most relevant professionals in each of the fields that comprise it.

Research, professional management, communication and even marketing work will be the subject of debate and analysis within the two days of the event.

The program of sessions of the conference will cover topics as current as the social impact of gastronomy as well as the distribution of raw materials for subsequent preparation, without abandoning the way of preparing and presenting the kitchen artists.

Young European restaurateurs in Spain

The celebration of the congress will bring with it the first edition of the national assembly of Jeune Restaurateurs d’Europe-Spain, to keep alive the preservation and dissemination of Spanish culinary traditions.

This association of young restaurateurs of Europe, created in the neighboring country to the north (France 1974) seeks to bring together potential teachers in a forum of solidarity and demand to continue creating culinary art as the main premise.

Its work to disseminate to future chefs is its communication mission to help endure over time as an environment of gastronomic creation, promoting the Talent, Passion and Innovation.
