Colorful eggs
Supplies : white or beige eggs (chicken or quail, depending on the desired size), a container to collect the contents of the egg, a screwdriver or a thin and pointed object, a sheet of fine paper, glue (in gel preferably), plastic bottle caps.
The preparation : before starting, clean the eggs well. Some have a red mark indicating the date of laying and / or consumption, it is usually enough to rub lightly so that it disappears under water. Last resort: apply a little nail polish remover. It is now necessary to pierce the eggs at each end by giving small blows with the screwdriver or the pointed object on the shell (the child will do it with your help). Then place over a container and blow hard through one of the holes. Then wash the eggs by soaking them in water and blowing. To dry them, lay them on bottle caps or use a blow dryer to go faster.
The decoration : children have a lot of imagination and can have fun creating patterns with colored papers for example. You can tell your child to paint the whole egg green, for example, taking care to hold it with a wooden stick to make the job easier. And stick small flowers or pre-cut stickers on it and leave to dry. You can also after painting it, add colored feathers to the hole provided to hollow it out.
