It took 70 hours of painstaking work for the classroom to cease to be ordinary. Pupils now just rush to his lessons.

Kyle Hubler teaches seventh and eighth grade math at a regular high school in Evergreen. As he prepared for the new school year, he thought it would be nice to make it easier for the children to return to school after the summer break. Mathematics is not easy, after all. But how? Do not give unreasonable indulgences to schoolchildren. And Kyle came up with it. And then he spent five whole weeks on the implementation of his idea. I stayed late after work, sat in the evenings – it took as much as 70 hours to carry out my plan. And that’s what he did.

It turns out that Kyle Hubler is a fan of the Harry Potter series. Therefore, he decided to recreate on the territory entrusted to him a small branch of Hogwarts, a school for wizards. I thought through everything to the smallest detail: the design of the walls, ceiling, lighting, built workshops and a laboratory for alchemists, a library for future magicians. He brought some things from home, made some, bought something on the Internet, and got hold of something at garage sales.

“The Harry Potter books influenced me a lot when I was little. Being a child is sometimes difficult: sometimes I felt like a stranger, I didn’t have my own party. Reading has become an outlet for me. While reading the book, I felt like I belong to a special circle of friends, ”said Kyle.

When the guys entered the classroom on the first day of school, the teacher literally heard their jaws fall off.

“They wandered around the office, looking at every little thing, talking and sharing their findings with classmates.” Kyle is really happy that he was able to please his students. And not only them – his post on Facebook with photos of the former boring office of mathematics was shared by almost 20 thousand people.

“I love my job, I like my students. I want them to always be sure that they can achieve their dream, even if it seems unattainable or magical, ”said the teacher.

“Why didn’t I have such a teacher at school!” – in chorus ask in the comments.

Many, by the way, are ready to nominate him for the title of teacher of the year right now. Indeed, why not? After all, teenagers are now learning math with much more enthusiasm than before. We also offer you a walk in an unusual class.
