Céline Dion, Victoria Beckham, Shakira, Kanye West… these artists all have one thing in common: that of having dedicated a song to their offspring. Yes, when you have a beautiful voice and know how to write beautiful texts, what better way than to declare your love in music to the people who are dear to us. Often tinged with melancholy or tenderness, these tribute songs were for the most part true hits., like “Winning Mistral” by Renaud, “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder or “Millésime” by Pascal Obispo. Lionel Richie’s granddaughter also had a song just for her! The rocker Joel Madden, leader of the group Good Charlotte and husband of Nicole Richie, has indeed recorded the title “Harlow’s Song” in homage to his daughter Harlow, born in 2008.

In 1991, Eric Clapton lost his 4-year-old son, after a fatal fall from the 53e floor of a New York building. In 1992, he released the very moving “Tears in heaven” in homage to his young deceased son. Moving.
