Studies were conducted on volunteers who, in five weeks of this diet, managed to get rid of about seven kilograms of excess. In the course of the study, they ate mushrooms instead of four meat dishes in one week.

Experts say that mushrooms are a good source vitamin D, which is also contained in meat in considerable quantities. In addition, mushrooms contain a large amount of vitamin B, minerals, as well as antioxidants important for health.
