The hardest 15 minutes: five ways to convince the body of satiety

According to scientists, it takes about 15 minutes for the brain to receive information from the stomach that the body is finally full. But how often we do not know how to get up from the table in time, relying only on our playing out appetite, and not on the size of the portion already eaten. And how often these 15 minutes become fatal – extra pounds invariably leave a mark on the figure.

How to stop in time and give the body a signal that the stomach is not hungry?

Measure a portion

The surest way to prevent overeating is to make a clear promise to yourself not to add a supplement and to measure out the portion you will get enough of without overeating. Remove all other food from sight, eat clearly planned and do not be tempted to “one more bite”.

Get out of the table

Do not sit at the table when your portion is over, do not wait for other family members, do not drink tea “for company.” With this signal, you will let the body know that it is possible to start digesting what is and what will not be otherwise.

Brush your teeth

After your main meal, force yourself to brush your teeth. First, you take the short term and take your mind off the supplement. Secondly, if the urge to eat does not go away, then the taste of pasta in your mouth and the feeling of freshness will stop you from a culinary “crime”.

Treat yourself to dark chocolate

Eat a piece of dark chocolate. Thus, you will signal the body to switch to dessert, which means there will be no more heavy high-calorie food. Dark chocolate is good for the body and is highly recommended for daily consumption.

Eat something minty

Peppermint is a great appetite suppressant, so to avoid being tempted by an extra bite, drink mint tea or eat a peppermint candy.
