How to prepare the skin for tanning? Here are 6 ways to make our meeting with the sun bring the expected effect.

The holiday season has started in earnest. However, it is not too late to prepare your skin for tanning. Read what is worth eating to facilitate the absorption of bronze.

  1. The power of tomatoes. Tomatoes is a natural source of vitamins and minerals valuable for health. Not everyone knows that this healthy vegetable contains lycopene, which acts as an armor protecting the skin from the sun. Of course, this does not mean that eating tomatoes alone is enough to protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun. Applying creams with a filter is an obligation, but eating tomatoes can help us protect the skin from burns more effectively. So if you are going to the seaside in some time, increase the amount of tomatoes in your diet and you will see how much good they will do for your body and skin condition.
  2. Healthy fats positive for the skin.During sunbathing, we should take care of proper hydration of the skin, because it is very easy to dry it. Consuming healthy fats will allow our tissues to maintain proper moisture. One to two tablespoons of olive oil a day or a handful of nuts will help retain water in your body, so you’ll be less likely to dry out, and your skin will look healthy and smooth.
  3. A portion of beta-carotene in the daily menu. Beta-carotene makes the tan more beautiful. You will find it in spinach, carrots, in yellow vegetables, e.g. in yellow pepper. It is worth knowing that even a minimal portion of these vegetables in the diet protects the skin against UVB and UVA rays and supports tanning. Your skin then takes on a juicy brown color. Beta-carotene treatment should be started early enough.
  4. Reach for the treasures of summer. Blueberries and broccoli are very valuable products that should be eaten especially in the summer. While fresh broccoli can be eaten all year round, fresh blueberries can only be eaten in the summer. These natural food treasures contain antioxidants that are very important for health, which reduce the risk of cancer, including skin cancer. By eating broccoli and blueberries, you can support your skin’s protective barrier. Remember, however, that the most important protection against the sun is moderation in tanning.
  5. Natural flavonoids smooth wrinkles. When your skin is not properly moisturized and nourished, you can see uninteresting spider veins on your skin during prolonged sunbathing. Natural flavonoids work more effectively than many anti-wrinkle creams. You can find this ingredient in oranges and blueberries. These fruits are a very nice snack for the summer. Eat more of them!
  6. Also, think about supplements. In addition to eating fruits and vegetableswhich prepare the skin to meet the sun, you can also reach for appropriate supplements. One of them is beta-carotene in capsules, which, taken a few weeks before the holiday, gives a lot of confidence that the skin will take a beautiful, chocolate color and will be effectively protected. You can also reach for tanning capsules containing selenium, zinc, carotenoids and healthy fatty acids. In this way, you will be reassured that you have provided your skin with protection and a healthy, bronzed look.
