Due to the spread of the influenza virus type A (A/H2009N1/CA/1), known as swine flu, in 2009, the Prima Medica Medical Center (Kaluzhskaya) introduced a new service:

Detection of RNA of influenza A, B (classical) and A/H1N1/CA/2009 (swine flu) viruses in swabs from the patient’s nose and throat.

According to the Methodological Guidelines of Rospotrebnadzor of the Russian Federation and the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), in order to recognize the swine flu virus at an early stage, a molecular diagnostic method is recommended. The study is carried out using test systems that were developed at the Federal State Institution Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor and are approved for use on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Execution time: up to 5 working days.
