A cast of emblematic hotels in the city of Madrid will now be the ones to celebrate a new edition of the Hotel Tapa Tour gastronomic circuit
The first edition was held in Barcelona last April, and about thirty hotels in the city participated, where a total of 3.500 tapas were served to their clients and visitors to their rooms and restaurants.
Among the establishments participating in the event, we highlight the Hotel Claris, the Hotel Condes de Barcelona, the Hotel Central or the Palace.
To give content to this first edition of Hotel Tapa Tour in Madrid, a score of hotel establishments have already signed up and among those adhered we highlight the AC Palacio del Retiro, the Hotel Santo Mauro, the Hotel Orfila, the Hotel Wellington, the Hotel Hesperia Madrid, the Hotel Villa Real, the NH Collection Eurobuilding, among others. …
The dates are already closed, and from September 15 to 25, the route-competition of signature tapas, which are prepared and offered in the gastronomic spaces of the capital’s hotels, begins to demonstrate that it can achieve success and on all influx of the first Barcelona date.
4 and 5 star hotel establishments as gastronomic spaces.
The organization of the Hotel Tapa Tour event seeks to consolidate and at the same time claim the hotel as a gastronomic meeting point for visitors and guests with the introduction of the Tapa format as a claim to taste and test the creativity of the cooks of each establishment.
The miniature kitchen is raised in this bankruptcy activity, to create a competitive spirit but at the same time cordial and a unifying trend, where consumers can meet to try, taste and comment on which is the most special snack for their taste, being able to decide in the category of “Popular Top”.
Each participating hotel offers the public two different proposals, a cover for competition and another cover for a charitable purpose.
Brianda Solidarity Tapas, the profits obtained from the sale of each one of them will be destined to the organization or cause chosen by each hotel.
For Contest Tapas, an official jury, made up of professionals from the catering and hospitality industry, will be in charge of deliberating and choosing the best of each of the categories to which they are submitted:
- Earth Cap
- Sea Top
- Sweet lid
The prices of each of the Tapas will range between 4 and 8 euros, where the accompanying drink will be included; wine or cava in the case of the contest tapas and a special cocktail for solidarity tapas.
To make it easier to try out various proposals in a staging of Tapas Route, the organizers have eight different itineraries that are grouped under the names of the areas of the city such as: Santo Domingo, Cuzco, Gregorio Marañón, Retiro, Atocha, Alonso Martínez, Gran Vía and Campo de las Naciones.
