Symptoms of hallux valgus

Hallux valgus can be painless, especially if the shoes worn are adapted to the shape of the foot. But the symptoms of hallux valgus can be:

  • Visible deformity of the big toe;
  • Pain in hallux valgus or sole of the foot;
  • Redness, inflammation;
  • Infection in the rubbing area;
  • Deformation of other toes (claw toes, calluses, corns);
  • Difficulty walking;
  • Osteoarthritis.
