Symptoms of chlamydia
Chlamydia is often called ” silent disease Because more than 50% of infected men and 70% of women have no symptoms and are unaware that they have the disease. Symptoms usually appear after a few weeks, but may take even longer to appear.

In women
- Most often, no sign;
- Sensation of burning while urinating ;
- Unusual vaginal discharge ;
- Bleeding between periods, or during or after the sex ;
- Pain during sex;
- Lower abdominal pain or in the lower part of the Both of you ;
- Rectite (inflammation of the wall of the rectum);
- Abnormal discharge from the anus.
In humans
- Sometimes no sign;
- Tingling, itching in the urethra (channel at the exit of the bladder which opens at the end of the penis);
- Abnormal discharge from urethra, rather clear and somewhat milky;
- Burning while urinating ;
- Pain and sometimes swelling in the testicles, in some cases ;
- Rectite (inflammation of the wall of the rectum);
- Abnormal discharge from the anus.
In the newborn child to whom the mother transmits chlamidiae
- Eye infection with redness and discharge at this level;
- Lung infection which can cause coughing, difficult breathing and fever.
