Symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia

 

  • More and more frequent urges to urinate (first at night, then during the day);
  • Weak urine stream;
  • An effort to initiate the first urine jet;
  • The intermittence of the jet (in spurts);
  • “Delayed drops”;
  • A feeling of not completely emptying the bladder;
  • Painful urination;
  • The presence of blood in the urine;
  • Sometimes a decrease in strength on ejaculation.
