Rules for drinking fresh juices

The juice is liquid, so it is often taken as a drink, along with tea or water. From the point of view of eating, this is not a complete meal, and not a drink. It is more correct to call a glass of freshly squeezed juice the word “snack”.

Juice is absorbed by the body better than just a vegetable or fruit, less time and effort is spent on digestion. In addition, eating three carrots at a time is almost impossible. Freshly squeezed juices are rich in pectin and fiber fibers, help cleanse the body, are low in calories, and normalize the digestion process. They also contain structured water and essential oils.

Most freshly squeezed juices can be consumed as a breakfast or afternoon snack, but fruit juices should not be mixed with other types of food. Vegetable juices can be drunk before or after meals, but it is better with an interval of 20 minutes.

All juices must be prepared immediately before use, since after 15 minutes the useful substances in them begin to break down. The exception is beet juice, it must settle, we will dwell on it a little lower.

If you choose between juice with pulp and without – give preference to the first.

During the preparation and storage of juice, there should be no contact with metal, which destroys the vitamin value of the drink. Do not take pills with juices.

Most juices are recommended to be diluted with water – mineral or filtered. Lemon juice is mixed with warm water with honey. Some juices require certain additives, for example, carrot juice is served with cream, and tomato juice is served with a small amount of vegetable oil.

When mixing juices, they adhere to the principle: stone fruits with stone fruits, pome fruits with pome fruits. You can also be guided by the color palette, using a mixture of green or orange fruits, but you need to remember that yellow-red fruits are dangerous for allergy sufferers.

Sour fruit juices are drunk through a straw to protect tooth enamel from destruction.

The taste familiar to everyone since childhood is one of the most useful freshly squeezed juices. Due to the high content of carotene (vitamin A), it is indicated for skin diseases, nervous disorders, cataracts, asthma, osteoporosis, but carotene is absorbed only in combination with fats, so they drink carrot juice with cream or vegetable oils. You can’t drink this juice more than five glasses a week, you can literally “turn yellow”. But if you want to get a natural self-tanner, then apply some of the juice to the skin for several days, and it will acquire a golden hue.

This juice is not so rich in vitamins, but benefits from the abundance of trace elements. This is the lowest calorie juice, so it is recommended for overweight people. Drink squash juice 1-2 cups a day, adding a teaspoon of honey.

The juice of pink potato tubers is especially useful. With diseases of the stomach, high acidity and constipation – this is the drink number 1. If you mix in equal proportions the juice of potatoes, carrots and celery, you get an effective remedy for cleansing the body and losing weight.

There is no need to be afraid if after potato juice it will be a little sore in the throat – this is a side effect of the solanine contained in the potato. Just gargle with water.

Carefully! Potato juice is contraindicated in diabetics and people with low stomach acid.

Increases the level of hemoglobin in the blood, cleanses blood vessels, protects the liver, has a beneficial effect on the stomach, lungs and heart. Recommended for those recovering from a serious illness to strengthen the body. However, you need to start with the smallest amounts – 1 teaspoon per day. Beetroot juice is not drunk fresh, it is left open in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. The foam formed on the surface is removed, and only after that they drink the juice. The course of admission is no more than 2 weeks, so that the intestines do not “spoil” from constant light cleansing.

Italians don’t call tomatoes “golden apple” for nothing. Tomatoes contain a large amount of carotene, B vitamins, phosphorus, iron, iodine, copper, chromium and potassium. Tomato juice belongs to low-calorie products, and is allowed for consumption by overweight people. You can not drink tomato juice suffering from gastritis.

It tastes good and quenches thirst in hot weather. It is considered a good expectorant, recommended for diseases of the upper respiratory tract. With a decline in strength and mental stress, it restores the nervous system. Grape juice is drunk in courses for a month and a half, starting with half a glass and increasing the volume to 200-300 ml per day.

If apple trees grow in your garden, then the best way to deal with the crop is apple juice. Depending on the acidity of the stomach, varieties can be varied – sweet with gastritis with high acidity, sour – with low acidity. For the therapeutic effect of apple juice, it is enough to drink half a glass a day.

Drinking juice doesn’t mean you can ignore fresh vegetables and fruits. Juices are only part of the diet, the quintessence of the sun and energy in one glass. Drink juice, be healthy!
