Royal jelly: beneficial properties. Video

The waste products of bees – wax, honey, pollen – are excellent biological stimulants used to maintain health and beauty. Royal jelly, loved by cosmetologists and doctors, is no exception.

Royal jelly is the very substance that helps the larva turn into a toiler-bee. This secret, secreted by the glands of the worker bees, is sent to a wax cell, from which an adult bee will emerge very soon. And all thanks to the richest composition of the product. Sour in taste, with a strong “waxy” aroma, this white liquid has been the most important component of funds that support the body’s work, immunity and endurance for several centuries.

The miraculous property of royal jelly is hidden in its composition. In addition to fatty acids, vitamins, carbohydrates and hormones, this product contains proteins that are similar in composition to blood plasma proteins. Despite the fact that the absolute interaction of all the substances contained and their effect on humans have not been fully studied by specialists, the beneficial effect on health is obvious.

The vitamin composition of royal jelly includes C, D and B necessary for a person. There are also quite rare vitamins E, PP, pantothenic acid and a whole range of hormones (progesterone, testosterone), which are indispensable in maintaining female youth and attractiveness.

Glucose and fructose serve as excellent antidepressants, replacing regular sugar. And lipins do not allow various microorganisms, parasitizing bacteria, to develop in milk. Nutrients in the composition of the product help to rehabilitate after long-term illnesses, operations, and contribute to the restoration of metabolic processes.

Royal jelly is a capricious product. It is easily neutralized by gastric juice, therefore in medicine it is used in the form of injections or coated tablets. On the basis of royal jelly, various creams and ointments are applied externally (skin contact).

In addition, this beekeeping product does not tolerate the effects of light and air at all, and therefore after 3-4 hours without packaging it loses its properties. In cosmetology, royal jelly undergoes special processing and is used in an increased concentration in order to preserve all auxiliary qualities.

Royal jelly is perfectly absorbed through the mucous membranes, renewing cells and not splitting. Therefore, it is better to hold the mixture with a spoonful of honey under the tongue before swallowing.

For people with allergic reactions to honey, pollen and other waste products of bees, the use of royal jelly is not excluded at all, but should be seriously limited. A specialist will help you choose the optimal amount needed to maintain tone.

How royal jelly will help

The high content of zinc in royal jelly has a beneficial effect on the condition of hair and skin, relieves rashes. Folic acid saturates the brain and calms the nervous system during pregnancy. Macronutrients and salts awaken the appetite. A complex of macro- and microelements actively fights against arthritis and rheumatism.

Antiseptics included in royal jelly are truly “first aid” for colds, inflammatory processes, and treatment of bronchitis. Pressure surges, angina pectoris, recovery from heart attacks – royal jelly will cope with everything.

Royal jelly in the cosmetic field

Surely, a woman striving for perfection has heard a lot about the benefits of royal jelly. Lotions, creams, masks, shampoos and even toothpastes are not a complete list of products using royal jelly designed to ennoble the appearance.

Homemade masks using royal jelly are very popular among the fair half. The simplest and most versatile is the following mixture: -100 g of honey heated in a water bath; – 50-100 ml of milk; – 25 ml of the infusion of the string.

The thick, cooled mass must be applied to the face and neck for half an hour, and then washed off with warm and cold water. This mask prevents skin aging, saturates it with oxygen and gives elasticity.

The benefits of royal jelly

In order for the skin to acquire a natural glow and say goodbye to traces of gray fatigue, you can grate the carrots on a fine grater, drain off excess juice, add about 40 ml of royal jelly and apply the mixture for 15 minutes. You can do this no more than once a week, otherwise the skin will turn orange. To surely avoid such an effect, you can add half a teaspoon of the used cream (moisturizer) to the mixture. So the skin will receive an excellent charge of useful substances.

A mixture of a few drops of royal jelly and sour cream can be used to moisturize the lips. Sour cream can be replaced with olive oil. Apply for 5-10 minutes as needed

Taking care of your hair with royal jelly is also extremely simple. You just need to add a few drops of this healing liquid to the used hair mask or balm. Regular use of these “secret” products will help to achieve shine and thickness of hair.

If you have old, sugar-coated honey in your home, adding royal jelly to it can make a good body scrub. But not for the future, but for one procedure. So, the grains will cleanse the skin, and the milk will perfectly soften.
