Where buy watermelon or melon without fear for your health? Rospotrebnadzor announced a list of requirements for official points of sale. How can you find out:
- they are never located along highways – the sale of melons there, which can easily absorb harmful substances from the exhaust gases of cars, is prohibited;
- they should all have signs indicating opening hours
- legal places of sale are fenced off and have a canopy
- watermelons are stored on special racks, rather than lying on the ground
- the presence of scales is required
- the seller must have a complete package of documents confirming the quality and safety of products (this is a certificate or declaration of conformity, a certificate of quality).
And remember: it is strictly forbidden for sellers to cut a piece for a sample or cut watermelons with melons into pieces at authorized points of sale!
A legal seller must have a personal medical record at the workplace and information about the legal entity that sells the goods.
