Report: the first trip to the park

The square, the essential family outing

As soon as she arrives at the square, Alicia rushes to her favorite game: the slide. The one she chooses is too big for her! Too bad, she still tries to climb there on her own. She climbs the first two steps, but is very quickly slowed down in her ascent. His mom comes to the rescue. Short tour of Alicia’s challenges and achievements.

The square, a place of motor activities

Close

Children are often drawn to activities intended for older children, because they want to push their limits and overcome their fears. They are right, because by taking risks, they develop their self-confidence. It also helps them assert their personalities and gain autonomy. Obviously, it’s not about putting yourself in danger. Moreover, the role of parents is

essential: encourage your child and, if necessary, reassure him. Once upstairs, Alicia is all excited. She lets herself slide. A little surprised by the speed at the beginning, she arrives downstairs bursting into laughter. How exhilarating! She goes up and down several times, always with the same jubilation.

The toboggan also stimulates sociability

The slide stimulates motor skills. It is not that easy for a toddler, he has to coordinate the movements of the hands, feet and gaze to climb the ladder. And develop your balance, flexibility and reflexes. Climb, descend, stoop, jump … The child gradually learns to find his way around in space, which also allows him to enrich his spatial vocabulary. It is also an opportunity to boost his sociability, because he must respect certain rules, such as waiting his turn, not obstructing the passage of others, not monopolizing the attraction …

Alicia then sets off to storm a second slide. Smaller, it is integrated into a fortified mini-castle that brings together several activities, such as a suspension bridge and a climbing wall. Then begins a little ritual: climb the ladder, cross the wooden bridge. And finally taste the joys of sliding. But after a while, going up the ladder just seemed too easy. Alicia then attempts an ascent from the side of the descent. It’s a lot funnier, but still a little too difficult. To make things more exciting and change the rules of the game, we can offer the more intrepid to slide in another way, by putting themselves on the stomach or by lying on the back for example, the adult staying nearby.

Alicia, the balancing act!

Close

Then she rushes to the suspension bridge. Finally, destabilized by the movement of the boards, she gives up very quickly. This balancing act is complicated before 3 years.

Direction the rocking motorbike. Alicia climbs up on her own and begins to swing. Slowly at first, she quickly feels confident, then she speeds up the movement. At his age, it’s already a small feat to be able to control his speed. And it’s so fun to feel very light and take to the skies while strolling through the air!

A last tour in the cabin, just to do some acrobatics on the table and benches, before going home to taste it. Alicia is proud and happy to have taken up all these challenges which allowed her to let off steam and, ultimately, to grow a little more …
