Step 1:
Fold one of your colored sheets in half lengthwise.

Step 2:
Using your scissors, have fun making notches along the fold, being careful not to cut them across the entire width.
When you reach the end of your sheet, cut out an entire strip of paper that you will use to make the handle of your lantern.

Step 3:
Open the paper and let your artistic sense express itself to decorate your lanterns to your liking: stickers, glitter, felt-tip drawings… you choose!
Then glue, one on top of the other, the two short edges of your sheet.

Step 4:
To attach the handle of your lantern, place a dot of glue on both ends of your paper strip and apply it to the top and inside of your lantern.
Don’t be afraid to press down and let it dry for a few minutes.

Step 5:
You can make as many lanterns as you want, starting over with other leaves of different colors.
It’s up to you to play now and, once your lanterns are finished, do not hesitate to pass them in a thick wire or a cord to hang them and thus decorate your house or your garden!
