You will need: – 6 medium potatoes; – 50 g of lard; – salt (optional); – 3 sprigs of dill; – 6 squares of foil.
For a recipe for potatoes with lard, a wax-grade vegetable that does not fall apart during cooking is preferable
Peel the potatoes and cut each one into equal halves. Cut the bacon into 12 thin slices, no larger than the tubers. Spread the sheets of foil on the table. Place half of the potatoes in their centers with the convex side down, salt (if the lard is unsalted) and cover with a piece of lard. Place the second half of the vegetable on top, this time with the reverse side, and another piece of bacon. Wrap portions of food in foil, sealing the edges. Preheat oven to 200 ° C.
Check the integrity of the silver rolls to prevent precious fat from leaking out during cooking. Place them on a baking sheet and bake the potatoes and lard for an hour. Transfer the finished meal to plates and sprinkle with chopped dill.

Spread the potatoes on a wide ovenproof plate, season with salt, cover with onion rings and thin slices of bacon. Place the dishes in the microwave oven, select a power of 800 W, set the “Vegetables” mode and set the timer for 10 minutes. Decorate the finished dish with dill.
