Onishchenko named places where you can “quietly” get infected with coronavirus

A second self-isolation regime has not yet been introduced in our country, so many people gather in public places every day. The former chief sanitary doctor of Russia told where you need to be extremely careful.

Gennady Onishchenko is a deputy of the State Duma and a former chief sanitary doctor of our country. In conversation with “Evening Moscow” he shared where people should be more careful about the safety of their own health so as not to accidentally get infected with the coronavirus.

Naturally, the first point is the metro. Thousands of people use this type of transport every day, so it is difficult to control social distance there. Especially during rush hour. In order to reduce the risk of infection, Gennady Grigorievich advises not to neglect wearing a mask. And we remind you about antiseptics, which are located at the ticket offices and escalators, and gloves.

The next place where you can get infected turned out to be an elevator. So if you have the opportunity to climb the stairs, then it is better to use it. There is a risk of getting sick even if there is no one in the elevator. An infected person may have traveled there before you, which increases the likelihood of infection. Mikhail Lebedev, a leading expert of the Center for Molecular Diagnostics of the Central Research Institute, spoke about this to RIA Novosti.

As another “dangerous” place, Onishchenko singled out communal apartments that still exist in our country. Or rather, their common kitchens, where the residents mostly “hang out”.

Also, the former sanitary doctor of the country added escalators to the list, where there are problems with the distance, and old train carriages that are not equipped with an automatic ventilation system.

Do not panic, but simply take a more responsible approach to your health and observe possible safety measures.

Take care of yourself, your loved ones and wear a mask!
