Unique photos of the mansion of stunning beauty have appeared on the network.
A 96-year-old American woman decided to sell her home in Toronto (Canada). It would seem a common thing. The woman turned to realtors for help, who, having arrived at the place to inspect the house, were simply shocked. The interior of the mansion has not been updated for 71 years!
The grandmother, who is a seamstress and skilled knitter by profession, worked at home. She carefully monitored its condition for many years, maintaining a special comfort and safety of rare things that were acquired back in the 1950-1960s: antique sofas and armchairs, wrought-iron chairs, magical beauty mirrors and even the original Moffat stove. It was installed in the kitchen in the 50s, but it still works properly.
The American woman created the design herself. The interior is dominated by her favorite colors – pink, purple and aqua.
In a conversation with realtors, my grandmother recalled her father’s instructions – no pink wallpaper in the bedroom. It seems she decided to move away from his inhibitions. The guest bedroom of the house is a dream come true for any Barbie doll fan, and her personal bedchamber is reminiscent of a royal one.
Each room of the mansion is a separate space, created with all love. From the basement, the American woman made a place for relaxation: it houses a bar, a billiard table, a fireplace and a corner for playing poker.
Realtors have dubbed this house “the pearl that was hidden in the shell.” The mansion is currently up for sale. The daughter of an American wants to take a few things dear to her heart, and the rest will be left in its original form.
