In the first seconds after birth, a child does a lot of fun things. The first breath, the first cry, the first touches, the first unrestrained movements, the first hug with my mother. Here is the last point, perhaps the most touching. After all, this is incredibly important – the contact of a mother with a beautiful creature that she has been carrying for so long under her heart and which she has just brought into the world.
… Brazilian Brenda Coelho de Souze gave birth to her first child. She had to do a cesarean, but my mother was conscious all the time. As soon as Brenda’s baby was born, she was put on her mother’s chest – all in order to establish that very incredible contact between them. The emotions that were reflected on Brenda’s face when she first saw her daughter – any mother will understand and remember them. But what made this video really popular was the act of Agatha, a newborn baby.
The baby, without even opening her eyes, hugged her mother’s face. And then … she began to kiss her! Even the doctors, who saw this moment more than once or twice, were amazed: the baby, who had just been nervous and crying, instantly calmed down and dissolved in the first hug with his mother.
“It was an incredible moment when Agatha hugged me for the first time. The doctors were very surprised, they could not believe what my girl did – they had never seen such an affectionate baby, ”Brenda later said.
Now little Agatha is three months old. And she continues to delight her mother – day after day.
