bienmesabe

The first dish that we present to you makes mention of his name and surely you will not be disappointed if you decide to try it. However, there is a problem, and that is that, depending on the area in which we are, the “bienmesabe” dish will be one or the other.

And the thing is, in Madrid the Cadiz marinated dogfish receives this name. For its part, in the Canaries this is the characteristic name of a recipe for almonds, eggs and lemon. And, on the other hand, in Antequera the bienmesabe dish corresponds to a sponge cake base.

In any case, it is still a somewhat peculiar name.

Cunt

This is the name given to lupins, an edible seed that, in addition to this name, stands out for its many benefits, such as, for example, its action as a cholesterol-lowering, hypoglycemic, hypotensive, cardioprotective or antioxidant, as well as being highly nutritious.

Japuta

Another somewhat peculiar name is that of this silver fish, which fortunately it is also known as palometa. It lives in deep waters, but its breeding season begins in summer, when these fish approach the coast. Therefore, it will be more likely to eat these in coastal areas of the country, especially if you travel to Andalusia.

Morteruelo

The last dish whose name never ceases to amaze you is morteruelo, whose name refers to the utensil with which it is prepared East. As for its ingredients, it is necessary to have pork liver, meat, oil, garlic, spices and bread, which are amalgamated in a mortar.

Roasted Peppers Salad

Is a vegetable recipe, simply, although its name does not appear. Its ingredients are eggplant, pepper, tomato and onion. In addition to its strange name, we must add that at first glance it does not seem the most appetizing dish. However, once you try it, you will surely change your mind.

Fucked

The denomination of this word comes from the Galician word “folla”, which means “leaf”. Despite this, this curious and rare name does not cease to amaze. The dish consists of a crepe-style dough with bacon.
