Marinade for seafood, recipes

This dish is perfect for a buffet table. You will need: – 1 kg of mussels in shells; – 1 small red bell pepper; – 1 orange; – 1 clove of garlic; – 8 black olives; – 1 lemon; – 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar; – 5 tbsp. olive oil; – a pinch of hot red pepper; – salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Rinse the mussels in running water, then place in a saucepan of boiling salted water and cook until the shells open. Then remove the mussels, cool and clean from the shells.

Start making the marinade. Squeeze lemon juice, add vinegar and olive oil, as well as hot peppers and finely chopped garlic. Pour this mixture over the mussels, season with salt and pepper and leave in a cool place for 3 hours to marinate the seafood.

Prepare the rest of the snack ingredients. Peel the orange and then cut it into wedges. Also clean them from tough films. Remove the seeds and core from the bell pepper and then cut into cubes. Remove the pits from the olives. Take the skewers. For each of them, you can string 2-3 mussels, a couple of pieces of pepper and an orange slice, as well as an olive. Serve the appetizer on a platter or on a large platter.
