This second adventure orchestrated in 2011 by the same DreamWorks Animation studio is just as delightful, and plays more on the emotion than the comic aspect.
Directed by Jennifer Yuh, who had already actively collaborated in the creation of the previous opus, “Kung Fu Panda 2” propels into the history and myths of ancestral China to which sumptuous and highly stylized visuals constantly pay homage.
The discovery of the origins of Po generates magnificent and truly moving sequences, which will capsize young and old.
Note that it is always to Jack Black that we owe the voice of Po in the original version, while Manu Payet again lends his in the French version.
