Keep your summer healthy glow

Take advantage of your beautiful colors and your nectarine complexion to display an almost bare skin and dare to “no make-up”. No camouflage, but highlighting treatments, the best way to let your healthy glow shine through.

On the skincare side: perfectly embellished skin

In September, we can still do without makeup or apply much less than usual. Not to mention that, bare, your skin will still be able to enjoy the last rays of the late summer, which is often beautiful. On one condition: it must be perfectly neat, nice grain and shine to the ladle. Often times, the tan turns dull because the dry, wrinkled skin underneath “turns off” the light that can no longer pass through it. Three golden rules to make your skin radiant : a perfect cleansing / exfoliation, excellent hydration and sublimating treatments that immediately beautify the skin.

Facial cleansing

Adopt these soap-free cleansing foams, equipped with an ultra-gentle vegetal cleansing base, which respects the natural skin ecosystem. Airy and truly sensory, they make the complexion pure and clear. Some idealize the skin texture, with a real “baby skin effect”. It is even better if you accompany them with a cleaning brush like the one from Clarisonic or Philips. Massage it into your face morning and evening on damp skin, rinse thoroughly and dry by dabbing gently. These foams are suitable for most skin types, with the exception of ultra-dry skin which does not tolerate contact with water.

The scrub

Bet on natural fruit acids (AHA) extracted from citrus fruits, grapes, pineapple… as well as glycolic acid. Now is the right time to use them. They respectfully take off dead cells likely to suffocate the epidermis, stimulate cell renewal (we need it at the start of the school year) and refine the stratum corneum which has thickened in the sun. In doing so, they eliminate the dull veil of the complexion, without altering your tan. Easy to use, apply them once or twice a week, preferably in the evening, on a cleansed face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave them on for 3-5 minutes and rinse with plenty of water.

The moisturizer

Or, better yet, a more concentrated hydrating serum. Its texture “creeps” more into the fabrics and has the advantage of not clogging the skin, which may be congested by excess sunscreens. At the start of the school year, the daily need for hydration is doubled, even if your skin tends to be oily or combination. The additional fine lines installed insidiously upon returning from vacation bear witness to this. Most of the time, these are streaks of dehydration, indicating that your skin is thirsty. Excellent hydration will also allow it to better reflect light. The back-to-school cheat sheets all offer added value (soothing, radiance, etc.). A sure bet, hyaluronic acid plumps the skin. Its “plump” effect is ideal for “plumping” the epidermis. Another alternative: opt for a “reset” program which resets the skin counters to zero and takes into account for the first time its weekly rhythm (day, night, but also weekends). “If we add up everything a ‘normal’ woman does in a day, we arrive at 36 hours, according to Armelle Souraud, director of scientific communication Chanel. It can be seen and felt on her skin. Tired, it is out of sync, loses its acidity. Its pH increases, skin enzymes work less well and all of its biological functioning is slowed down. The skin becomes paler, less luminous, it loses its plumpness and its uniformity. By offering it a three-step cure that resynchronizes it, we allow it to regain good functionality.. The day care strengthens its barrier function, so the skin retains its energy to defend itself against daytime aggressions. The night one calms the cells, overworked all day. And the weekend care normalizes the pH because the latter increases throughout the week and fatigue. Those which immediately give us a nice “skin tone”, by treating color defects in the complexion. This is the best way to prolong the radiance of your beautiful complexion, to have an even complexion color, without spots or irregularities, a fresh and radiant skin that exudes health, has nothing to hide and that the we dare to show without makeup. Much better than a foundation that masks the skin texture, these specialist correctors offer us an immediate “beautiful skin” effect, with a lot of sophisticated optical agents: opalescent textures, pearlescent which illuminate instantly, pinkish or copper pigments which improve the uniformity of the complexion in all transparency, essence of light or smoothing micro-powders… These virtuoso treatments enhance the natural beauty of the skin and reveal its radiance, while correcting long-term discolouration of the complexion (pigment spots, redness, dark marks…). Makeup side: BB cream and glossy mouth

Now that your skin is infused with radiance and “glowy” to perfection, you can consider decorating it with delicate pops of color. Switch to Indian summer time, focusing on two points: skin tone and lips. Just spice up your complexion with transparency using illuminating bases with peach or golden reflections, complexion enhancers (also called “primers”) or BB creams special tan, with a little translucent pigments that enhance the light of the complexion. No foundation too covering, save them in the fall. You can also opt for these organic treatments based on urucum or sea buckthorn berries, naturally coral pigments which belong to the carotenoid family and are powerfully antioxidants. They apply directly to bare skin, reinforce the tan in an ultra-natural way and help to prolong the tan without any cosmetic material. Apply them all over the face, stretching them well, from the center outwards. On the other hand, emphasize the cheekbones with cream blushes (there are a lot of them this summer), more flattering than powder blushes on tanned skin (the more satiny your skin is, the more radiant and “healthy” your tan will be. ). Their creamy texture, flexible at will, merges with the skin and diffuses the color with finesse. The greedy shades, easy to apply and to wear, draw fresh and plump cheekbones, for an immediate healthy glow effect. Smile and apply them high on the crown of the cheekbone. If you are blonde, bet on a real fresh rose, the color that naturally rises to your cheeks. If you are brunette with rather dark skin, you have the coral, the mysterious brown or the burnished pink, echoing the amber nuances of your tan. Keep these same colors for your lips and make a pretty mouth with a pulpy and fruity shine, with a gloss or a colored balm which makes the lips full, nourished and appetizing. If you can’t live without your land of sunshine, choose those that combine tanned, apricot and gold pearl hues. Forget the powder whose opaque charges tarnish the tan, as well as the overloaded look. Last important detail, the eyebrows, keystone of the look. They must be brushed, disciplined, smoothed, thanks to one of those clear or tinted fixing gels, that every woman should have.
