PSYchology

I am big, the world is small — one of the internal pictures of the relationship between man and the world, which is characteristic primarily for people with the psychology of the omnipotence of mind and will, or for people with an overly inflated I who do not consider other people (the world of people) to be people. Just as dangerous a notion as the other extreme: the notion «I’m small, the world is big.»

This setting is contained in many books on the psychology and philosophy of business, where one way or another is broadcast:

  • There is no unconscious at all — these are fairy tales for idiots.
  • You have to be big so that the small world lies at your feet.
  • You have to do what is supposed to be done. Don’t care about your feelings (and the feelings of other people).
  • Love is invented not to pay money. Love must be protected.
  • There is no fate — everything is 100% in your hands and it does not matter if they are pure or not.
  • “Signs of the world” and other “purposes” were invented for losers.
  • Love yourself, sneeze at everyone, and success awaits you in life …
