How to train your brain to fall asleep in 60 seconds

Many have (temporary or permanent) difficulty falling asleep. The reason may be unhealthy diet, TV and gadget abuse before bed, stress. It’s incredibly difficult to turn off the brain and give it a break at night! If this problem has not bypassed you, then try the 4-7-8 breathing technique. It will help you fall asleep in 60 seconds.

Developed by Dr. Andrew Weil of Harvard, this method involves regulating your breathing to a count of four, seven, and eight. This technique allows oxygen to fill the lungs better, and it calms the mind.

What exactly do you need to do?

Inhale through your nose for four seconds. Hold your breath on seven seconds. Then exhale through your mouth for eight seconds.

This slows down the heart rate and chemicals are released in the brain that calm the mind.

If you, like me, are skeptical about such things, just give it a try!

It is important that this method is not only suitable for falling asleep. During times of stress, our endocrine system releases adrenaline through the adrenal glands. This raises your heart rate and makes you breathe quickly and shallowly. As a result, we get nervous.

If at such times you start breathing on a 4-7-8 count, your body will be forced to slow down your heart rate. He has no other choice! So you can resist the adrenaline rush. At first, you will probably be a little uncomfortable, but after a while you will feel that your heart rate has slowed down, and your consciousness has cleared.

Try it and write to me about your impressions and results!
