How to relieve pain on critical days

Our grandmothers dealt with the problem in their own way: they prepared herbal teas and tinctures and did without expensive pills. Folk recipes can be very useful if pain relievers are contraindicated for you, especially since the necessary herbs can be found in any pharmacy.

Healing decoctions are prepared as follows: 1 tbsp. raw materials are poured into 0,5 liters of boiling water and insisted in a thermos for 30-40 minutes, filtered and drunk 2/3 cup 3 times a day 15-20 minutes before meals. But tinctures have a different method of preparation: the raw materials are poured into a glass jar and poured with vodka in a ratio of 1:10, although in some cases the concentration may be higher, they insist for at least seven days and filter. Drink in drops, with water, sometimes with teaspoons or tablespoons.

The cinquefoil is goose. Its leaves contain ascorbic acid and tannins, have a bactericidal and hemostatic effect. For the broth, both leaves and flowers with a “mustache” are suitable.

Anise ordinary. It is widely used as an analgesic and antipyretic agent, has anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. You need to brew the seeds of the plant.

Burdock. Its roots are a real storehouse of biologically active substances. To deal with pain, you will need burdock seeds: 1 tbsp. pour a glass of boiling water and knead them as soon as they swell, strain, sweeten with honey and drink in one gulp.

A delay can make any woman nervous, and besides, breaking the cycle is always a lot of inconvenience. Herbs can help in this case as well, however, it must be remembered: the listed plants have abortative properties, it is recommended to use them only if the delay is not caused by pregnancy.

Tansy ordinary. It is rich in essential oils and flavonoids, it is possible to prepare both inflorescence decoction and tincture.

Medicinal marigolds, or calendula. Leaves and flowers contain essential oils, organic and mineral acids. In case of delay, marigolds are brewed and drunk like tea.

Carnation. It became famous in medicine thanks to eugenol, which is contained in clove oil and has antimicrobial effect. Clove bud tincture is recommended to tone the uterus.

A stable, even cycle is considered a guarantee of women’s health, and a “shortage” of blood, like its “overkill”, can negatively affect it. Therefore, it is very important that your period is calm and without surprises.

Chernobyl, or common wormwood. Contains essential oils and alkaloids. A decoction from the roots of the plant can reduce bleeding or, if necessary, increase it, as well as correct the time period.

Oregano ordinary. The aerial part of the plant is replete with tannins, vitamin C and essential oil. With scanty menstruation, oregano tincture helps, which is used 30 drops 3 times a day before meals.

Red viburnum. It is used as a hemostatic agent, suitable for excessively heavy menstruation. For a decoction, 10 g of bark is poured with a glass of water and cooked for half an hour in a water bath, then filtered and brought to the original volume with water.
