As containers for freezing, you can use, for example, silicone molds. Moreover, its size should correspond to one portion. The scheme is simple:

  1. Chop the prepared greens at random.
  2. Fill in the selected form tightly.
  3. Pour the Parsley with the chosen filling and put it in the freezer, where it should freeze completely.

These portioned cubes are good for preparing first courses. It is enough to get the freeze and just dip it into the boiling soup a few minutes until cooked.

How to freeze parsley in strips

Another simple option for harvesting greens is stripes. It resembles the method of freezing cubes, but has certain differences.

Freezing technology:

  1. Remove the stems from the parsley sprigs. Rinse the leaves. Chop into strips.
  2. Expand the cling film. Lay out the prepared greens in a dense strip and wrap them in the form of a sausage in several layers of film.
  3. Then put the strip in the freezer until completely frozen.

During cooking, you just need to cut a piece of the desired length from the “sausage” and use it in the cooking process.

This is the last and easiest way to harvest greens. Greens stored in this form are convenient to use for decorating potatoes (boiled and fried), adding to salads or to meat dishes.

Technology:

  1. Wash the parsley and dry the branches thoroughly.
  2. Chop the prepared greens into random pieces.
  3. Transfer to a plastic container with a tight-fitting lid to prevent the parsley from absorbing odors.
  4. Place the container in the freezer.

Once frozen, the spice is ready to use.
