PSYchology

As with the formulation of any goal, the most important points in the formulation of the request are usually the positivity of the formulation, specificity and responsibility.

Typical negative questions

There are a large number of typical negative requests that a self-respecting (and client) consultant will not work with, such as “How to overcome your laziness?” or “How to protect yourself from manipulation?” These questions need to be known in order not to fall for them. See →

Constructiveness in psychological counseling

Very often a problem arises and is not solved due to the fact that it is formulated by the client in a non-constructive, problematic language: the language of feelings and the language of negativity. As long as the client stays within that language, there is no solution. If the psychologist stays with the client only within the framework of this language, he will not find a solution either. If the problem situation is reformulated into constructive language (language of behavior, language of action) and positive language, the solution is possible. See →
