the stainless steel sole can be cleaned with a mixture of candle wax and salt. To do this, grind a white candle on a grater. The resulting wax is mixed with fine salt and poured onto paper. Then the sheet is ironed, setting the minimum mode on the device;
you can descale the inside of a household steam generator with a professional tool. The store-bought liquid completely replaces the citric acid solution (a bag of powder per liter of water).
Cleaning should be done with the window open, wearing a protective mask and gloves, as acid fumes are dangerous. For the same reason, do not descale the steam generator with household chemicals containing aggressive components.
How to prevent limescale build-up in the steam generator
To prevent scale formation in the device, distilled water should be poured into the tank. The liquid purified from impurities is bought at a pharmacy or store. It can also be obtained at home by evaporating or freezing settled tap water. Rainwater and melt water are considered to be a natural distillate.
