How to cook oatmeal in a jar
 

Recently, jar of oatmeal for breakfast has been very popular, it is the perfect dish to start the day. In addition, you do not need to cook it in the morning, getting ready for work: lazy oatmeal, as it is also called, retains its useful properties and is prepared very simply. Pour the oatmeal over with milk or water and refrigerate overnight. Add some sweeteners, berries – you can season the porridge both in the evening and in the morning.

So, take a container of one and a half liters, fill it with 2 fingers with oatmeal, but not instant ones, but for prolonged cooking – Hercules is perfect. You can add some rye, corn or buckwheat flakes. Top with raisins, chopped dried berries, sprinkle with nuts or flax seeds and cover with milk, yogurt or water. During the night, the flakes will swell strongly, there should be 2 or even 3 times more liquid than a mixture of oatmeal and berries. Shake and refrigerate.

On a note:

– You can cook lazy oatmeal in a jar of out of honey or jam – do not rush to wash the jar of leftovers.

– Lazy oatmeal will be especially tasty if you pour it instead of regular milk with almond, coconut or poppy seeds.

 

– If your jar is transparent, you can lay out porridge and fruits in layers, then the morning will be not only tasty, but also bright.

Use natural sweeteners like maple syrup, honey, stevia, or Jerusalem artichoke.
