How to cook fried dumplings properly
 

Traditionally, dumplings are prepared by boiling them in boiling water with salt and bay leaves. But they can also be fried! Moreover, you should not consider fried dumplings a student dish, they are on the menu of quite decent restaurants. 

However, it should be borne in mind that with this method of preparation, the calorie content of dumplings increases. “But their wonderful taste is worth it” – for sure, fans of such a delicious dish as fried dumplings will probably answer this remark. 

How to fry dumplings

Ingredients: 

  • Dumplings – 1 pack
  • Olive or sunflower oil – for frying
  • Salt, pepper, herbs – to taste

Preparation:

 

1. Oil is poured into the pan so that the bottom is completely closed, heated over low heat.

2. We spread the dumplings. Each side is fried over low heat with the lid open for 10 minutes, then they are turned over to the other side and oil is added again, if necessary, so that it covers the contents by half.

3. Add spices just before removing from heat. 

4. Then place the dumplings on a paper towel for a couple of minutes to absorb the excess oil.

Can be served with chopped herbs and sour cream. Enjoy your meal!
