Frozen mushrooms can be safely stored all year without losing their nutritional properties. It is best to harvest mushroom caps in this way, but it is recommended to remove the legs.

It should be remembered that not all types of mushrooms tolerate freezing equally well. Suitable for her, for example, boletus and boletus mushrooms, mushrooms (moreover, both fresh and boiled) and mushrooms. Other varieties of mushrooms must be boiled before freezing. Otherwise, they acquire an unpleasant bitter taste.

Freezing mushrooms is a very convenient and economical way to store mushrooms – after all, plastic bags with mushrooms take up a minimum of space in the freezer. Such mushrooms can, if necessary, be added to various dishes: salads and roasts, stews and soups.
