Fasting once a week: benefit or harm

People who dream of a slim and fit figure often experience different methods of losing weight.

They care about the result, but no one thinks about the consequences. Fasting is considered one of the most radical methods of losing weight and cleaning the body. This method is practiced for both long and short periods. Fasting once a week – is it a panacea for excess weight or a myth?

Why do people condemn themselves to daily fasting?

A person eats more food per day than he needs. The body converts unused calories into fat, which is deposited on all parts of the body. In addition, modern food is created from flavor enhancers, preservatives, flavorings, stabilizers, and so on.

All this the body must process and remove from the body, and since a person is constantly replenishing supplies, the process of cleansing the body is delayed. We accumulate fat, waste and toxins.

For the body to be able to remove all this, it needs time. Just one day of fasting will help this process. The stomach and intestines will not waste energy on digesting food, their work will be aimed at removing harmful substances.

Fasting once a week: features of the method

  • 2-3 days before day X, you need to remove fatty meat and fish, beans, peas, sweets and alcohol from the diet.
