The most important thing in a competent make-up is to even out the tone of the face. With radiant and even skin, the rest of the cosmetics will look more advantageous, and minor blemishes will not spoil the overall look – unlike an unprepared, and therefore faded and unhealthy face, on which even expensive blush or red lipstick, ideally of your shade, will not fall beautifully. However, it is important not to overdo it with texture, there is no need to apply a thick foundation on already good skin.
The perfect foundation is just like the perfect jeans: this is the thing to find. From a medium shade of the product, choose 2-3 neighboring ones and apply them in strips on the cheekbone. It is when comparing several shades that it will be seen which one is yours, and which are categorically not suitable. If none of the shades fit, you are completely wrong with the color – it is either too light or too dark.
Patience and consistency will help you, but … not consultants in cosmetic stores. If you are painted by an experienced professional, then you are unlikely to remember all the subtleties, and at home you will not be able to repeat the whole process. Well, if a beginner make-up artist works with you, he will try very hard and pour the product on you, so that the tone will have time to turn yellow (and this is what happens with the foundation when it is in the air for a long time without dusting).
Eyebrows – the character of your face
The easiest way to create the effect of sable eyebrows is to paint over not only the space between the hairs, but also the fluff along the contour, which is invisible to the eye in everyday life. Eyebrow tint gels / mascaras will help you with this. With a brush, paint over the eyebrows from the roots, as when you dye the eyelashes, upward and slightly diagonally. Let the mascara dry. After that, with a cotton swab or a special comb, start styling the hairs in the shape you need. Thus, you can make the eyebrow line rounder or, conversely, sharper, or remove a slight asymmetry in height, giving the eyebrows neatness. With concealer, accentuate the clear lower brow line – this will create the effect of an “expensive” face. But remember, concealer doesn’t work on its own, so apply pigment or powder over the top to set it in.
Choose any shade or eyebrow pencil one shade lighter than your hair. And make sure that no redness appears on the eyebrows – all the colors of your eyebrow products should contain an ash tint. The best way to fix eyebrows is with chemical tinting. The expert will make you the perfect eyebrows, and the dye will leave a mark, and you will get used to the new eyebrows and adapt to the new shape.
The main rule when choosing a product is not to allow it to be gray. This shade for face correction is used only by professionals, and visually it works exclusively for the full face! Turning around, you see a gray stripe – and there is nothing to shade it. Just like darkening in the nose area, this is a purely professional technique. Limit the highlighting of the front nasal bridge. Mentally write an oval in your face and walk along those zones that will be outside it, as well as along the hairline, the place below the nostril zone and under the chin (but not along it!).
To freshen up your face, use a bright blush shade without glitter. Do not be afraid of colorful flowers in packages – due to the lack of a shimmer, the product is very dense and a small amount of it is collected on the brush. You need to apply only to the apples of the cheeks. But the means with shine must be chosen in cold undertones – this is how you can achieve a universal translucent version. By the way, the most correct, light gloss, the so-called glow-effect, is provided by gel-based products.
Choose soft shadows – ones that blend and blend easily with each other. In this sense, ready-made palettes of 4-5 shades, which have already been selected in the best color combination, are very convenient. The basis of everyday eye makeup is light smokyeyes. In order not to have problems with shading, prefer matte eyeshadows with satin or with a small shimmer – even in business makeup, light metallic is allowed.
A bit of color. Copper-red, brown, bronze, chocolate shades perfectly emphasize the blue color of the iris. Green eyes – lilac (with a shimmer!) Or purple (matte, warm, eggplant shades). Almost all colors suit the brown eyes, it all depends on what your goal is – to make your eyes lighter or darker. For darkening take bright, “electric” pigments, for the opposite effect – pigments for light eyes. But the classic saturated gray color (“asphalt”) is almost never used in eye makeup, as it is unnatural and adds age. Colored mascara and staining of the mucous membrane of the eye work on the same principle. Prefer a super-voluminous lengthening mascara – it has less powder, and you can paint over your eyelashes many times by pulling and curling them. No lumps!
