What is a deacidification diet?First of all, the alkaline diet (as it is also called) is recommended mainly to women because it is women who suffer from osteoporosis more often than men. Therefore, a deacidifying diet helps to maintain the proper level of calcium in the bones, and thus prevents osteoporosis. The alkaline diet method is simple. You avoid eating those products that acidify the body, and eat what restores the alkaline balance in the body. In order for the body to return to the correct alkaline reaction, you need to eat 80% of alkaline nature and only 20% o acidic nature. What does it mean. 80% should include all vegetables and fruits (especially melon, grapefruit and kiwi), natural, fresh fruit juices, olive oil, green tea, herbal teas, soy milk, natural honey (unprocessed). Your 20% is protein and carbs. You can prepare a small portion of meat (beef or poultry), fish, seafood, plus a portion of brown rice, buckwheat or 2 small potatoes. The rest of the plate should be occupied by vegetables, including greens (broccoli, Brussels sprouts, celery, spinach). The same rules apply for breakfast and dinner. You can eat yogurt, cottage cheese, cottage cheese, organic eggs and even tortillas. Don’t be afraid to add lemon to your dishes and drinks. Most people think that a lemon, being sour in nature, is also acidic.

Meanwhile, surprise – lemon and lime are the most alkaline fruits in our diet. They help get rid of excess acids from the body. They can be sprinkled on vegetables, fish, added to water. Your dish should consist of such a composition of products. Counting calories is not important in this diet, but you can rest assured – you will not gain weight.

After two weeks of using this diet, you should feel a significant improvement in well-being and feel relief from previously bothering symptoms. If you find it difficult to completely switch to this type of diet, repeat it every 2-3 months.
