Today we propose the elaboration of some very simple Christmas cookies so that we are the participants of these days and our children can help us in their preparation.

Our own “biscuit” fair

The ingredients that we are going to use are:

  • Harina 600 gr.
  • Sugar 250 gr.
  • Almonds 50 gr.
  • Butter 250 gr.
  • Eggs (2)
  • Milk
  • Buy
  • Colored anisette (optional)

We separate the whites from the yolks, and reserve them.

Crush the almonds, crushing them to a powder, mix it with the flour and reserve.

Mix the butter with the sugar slowly and add the egg yolks to the mixture, beating it if necessary.

We add the flour with the almond powder to this mixture and we work all the dough with our hands and the rolling pin until it is uniform. We stretch it and let it rest for 60 minutes in the fridge or a cool place.

We proceed to shape the dough with a knife or molds, tree, ball, star, etc … we leave the shape to your creativity and imagination …

We apply a few strokes of oil on the baking sheet or we put the dough on a paraffin paper so that it does not stick.

With the oven preheated to 180º, we place them on their tray for 15 minutes and let them cool off for another as many, so that they are ready to apply the winter decoration of artificial snow.

To do this, we crush or crush the sugar on a paper to turn it into powder together with a tablespoon of flour and thus we will have our azúcar glass.

To create color, we put the colored anisette on the cookies in the form of balls, or glitters for the stars …

We sprinkle it on the cookies and Ready to eat!
