    Step 1:

Draw in black felt on your cardboard the outlines of a tree. If it’s a bit complicated for you, ask Mom or Dad to do it.

Then cut out the outlines with the scissors.

    Step 2:

Color the trunk with a brown marker.

Cover your cardboard tree with tissue paper and trace the outlines with black felt.

All you have to do is cut them out and glue the tissue paper to the cardboard.

    Step 3:

To make the decorations for your tree, first draw them with black felt on a colored sheet: a mini tree, a bell, a Christmas boot, a star, a knot … If it’s a little too hard, ask Mom or Dad to help you.

Then superimpose your 6 colored sheets and cut out each of your drawings, following the outlines.

    Step 4:

Ask Mum or Dad to punch a hole with a big needle at the top of each of your decorations.

Write the numbers 1 to 25 on the back.

  • /

    Step 5:

Cut 3 pieces of string that will serve as a base to make the 3 garlands of your tree. Thread your decorations in the string, respecting the order of the numbers (starting from the bottom to the top). Tape the ends of the strings to the back of the tree. You can also fix the string and hang each of your decorations with mini clothespins or paper clips.

    Step 6:

On a yellow cardboard sheet, draw a big star and cut it out to glue it to the top of your tree.

With each passing day, don’t forget to return a decoration. A way to count the days before the arrival of Santa Claus!
