Chili Pepper Discovered New Amazing Property
 

Italian scientists have found that regular consumption of chili peppers can reduce the risk of dying from cardiovascular diseases, in particular from heart attacks and strokes.

Researchers compared the risk of death among 23 Italians, some eating chili and some not.

Participants’ health and dietary habits were monitored for 8 years. So, scientists found that the risk of dying from a heart attack was 40% lower among those who ate chili peppers at least 4 times a week.

 

It was noted that protection against the risk of mortality did not depend on the type of diet of the participants.

“Some may eat a healthy Mediterranean diet and others may be less healthy, but for all of them, chili will have a protective effect,” said study author Marialaura Bonacci.

The team now plans to investigate the biochemical mechanisms that make chili peppers beneficial.
