Unmissable queen of the night and outstanding businesswoman, we met Cathy Guetta, in Paris, on the occasion of the “dance-parade” organized for the launch of her new line of clothes for little girls. Work, children, family… she gives herself up unvarnished. “Show” in front!
Why did you choose the character of Tweety to represent your clothing brand?
The House of Warner asked me three years ago to be the face of Tweety. This winter, there was a first license with a collection of shoes for women. Today we are launching a collection of clothes for little girls. I really liked the idea of being able to transform this little character as I wanted, change it color and give it a trendy side.
This collection is aimed at young and old girls. Are you less inspired by children’s fashion for boys?
This is the choice of manufacturers, even if it is true that it is easier and more obvious to create for girls. But I also have a son and I find that there are great things that can be done for little boys.
Speaking of inspiration, where do you find your ideas for your collections?
Inspiration comes to me from everything around me, from a reading, from a sentence… I also browse the Internet a lot. And then I have the chance to travel a lot, I draw ideas from a country, a city visited. In fact, I especially like originality and make other people dream, in this case little girls.

I was born to party and make others dream. I also like to dream and that’s what I do by organizing parties. It’s simple, once you get into a nightclub, you are no longer judged. There is no question of colors, of differences, we are here to party. The nightlife allows different people to meet and this creates a great mix. People put their worries aside and I love to see their sparkling eyes.
