In a few weeks the Chinese New Year of the Earth Dog begins, and with it the gastronomic celebrations

A new edition of the gastronomic event sponsored by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, arrives for the third consecutive year in the capital of Spain to continue consolidating the image of oriental cuisine.

The gastronomic event has the collaboration of the Madrid City Council and the Community, and is a clear culinary celebration that is part of the celebrations of the Chinese New Year.

As in the previous editions of “China Taste”, a long dozen Chinese restaurants located in Madrid, characterized by their good culinary work, carry out this festival of Chinese food with a clear objective of dissemination and solidarity.

From February 9 to March 11, all the aromas and flavors of the Chinese gastronomic festival in MadridThey can be tasted in mythical temples of Cantonese cuisine, which this year is the one to which it is dedicated.

Again the hotel Gran Melía Palacio de los Duques, will act as an ambassador for these days, which will host the prestigious Chinese chef Fu Haiyong in the kitchens of his restaurant.

We will also be able to see the presentation of their festive menus in the traditional places of the party such as Lafu House or Peking Lacquered Duck.

Solidarity and Cantonese cuisine hand in hand

The participating restaurants will offer a special festive menu with typical dishes of the Christmas holidays in China, at very acceptable prices.

Its charitable nature focuses on making a donation to a social action, for each menu consumed, which this year will be collected and donated to help the solidarity work of Firefighters United Without Borders, an NGO that is specialized in intervention in major disasters and development cooperation projects.
